A surreal and once in a lifetime opportunity to see darkness in a new light. Unless you experience it, you won't know how darkness in the afternoon feels like. Its not the same type of darkness as twilight or in the night. You feel like you have left the planet for a few minutes.
Photographing and even looking at the sun with all its power is challenging. Use eye protection, wide and super telephoto lenses and go crazy with your angles to get the best shots. I have only minutes to experience the wonder of the eclipse and try to capture it using whatever equipment I had.
